I rode with Aaron while he drove the van for the first time yesterday. We went to the #USCellular store in Pekin to get his phone repaired.
Turns out he got it wet and we had to turn in a claim for it on the replacement policy. Once again the flim-flam of marketing reaches out to slap the customer. We were told that for $6 a month we could get the phone replaced if anything ever went wrong with it.
Nothing was said about paying $50 and waiting for them to ship you a new one then having to bring it back to the store to get activated. I wouldnt be surprised if there isnt another fee for activation. Always the fine print.

I think we have all the paperwork together to go get the drivers licenses taken care of. Tracey is leaving her car so Ben and Aaron can drive it for the test. I can tell they are really nervous about it. I dont think they have to take a written test just the driving part but we shall see.
Noah is also leaving his car home today so I can take it in to get some recall work done on it. He had originally scheduled it for after he got off work this evening. He asked me if I could take his car in Purty Please!? Never let it be said I stood in the way.

Your day sounds to be exciting too. I have to work today. I teach a class from 9-10 to help kids with their small/fine motor skills (cutting, writing, using their fingers for small tasks) Anyway, Im doing edible art today! We are making race cars out of Twinkies and decorating them, fire trucks from Rice Krispie treats, insects out of cheese hunks and chow mein noodles, etc. After I finish that, I help with a class from 10-12 called Oooey Gooey Tuesday. Today were having a mud party! The kids are going to have dirt and water and were turning them loose! We will make mud pies and get dirty/muddy!
DMV vs. edible art and mud pies......Id choose mud! Good luck to all of you today! Take a deep breath and do your best guys!
