We got a letter from #OakLawn Trailer Park management stating that they were going to stop charging for water use and trash pickup. And that they would be coming around to remove the water meters they installed last year. Evidently the pressure from renters, the health department, the EPA, etc. has finally convinced them to reverse the attempt to force this cost on renters.

I suspect next they will simply raise the lot rent by at least twice the amount that water and trash pickup actually cost.

Tracey has had two people call off work this morning due to the snow. She has decided to work from home rather than deal with the 1st snow of the season crazy drivers.

She has been bringing her computer home every day lately just for this reason. Crazy drivers and non-existent snow removal here in the trailer park.
