06/07/20 Quote «The Legel Report»
The very moment a workingman begins to do his own thinking
he understands the paramount issue, parts company with the capitalist
politician and falls in line with his own class on the political battlefield.

I bought a network wire 50 feet long and hooked my computer up straight to the modem instead of using WiFi. It tripled my connection speed.

My alarm clock cost me about $8 many years ago. It is always on time. If the power goes out or if there is a Daylight Savings Time change —— it resets itself.

My question is why can’t a $200 microwave clock do that?

Our current system of crime prevention is a near total failure. You cannot prevent a crime by sheer manpower attempting to catch a criminal in the act.

You CAN prevent crime by using proven techniques to catch, prosecute and properly discipline as many criminals as possible.

To prevent crime, you must deter the criminal’s intention by making it known everything will be done to catch them even if they do it. To make it clear that even in the dark of night in the most remote area we will use science, technology, and proven detective measures to track them to justice.

A massive police presence will never work as effectively.

Over the years I have accumulated hundreds of people that I *follow* on social media - mostly Facebook and Twitter. A bit fewer that half of those people also *follow* me.

Over the past week or so I have been unfollowing those who share or proclaim “Blue Lives Matter” or “All Lives Matter” memes.

I do so without comment or accusation. I simply click the link to unfollow. A very few have discovered this action and have questioned my action. I do not answer them.

It is my belief that if they have not seen my posts over time it is not likely I can suddenly explain why and I suspect it is the loss of the number of followers rather than my actual self that disturbs them.

Of those who are aware of what I post and share because they follow me in return, I can’t imagine they would think I would agree with praise for the police state or excuses for racism. So again, there is little point in my continued observance of the comments and memes with which I disagree.

They are still free to observe and share my posts. I have not blocked them.
