#Sept11 Another September 11th comes around five years later and so many unanswered questions. I remember the price of gasoline skyrocketed to over $4 a gallon at many local gas stations and there was a panic about some unexplained and sudden gas shortage. Why was that allowed to happen and what (if anything) was ever done about it?
I remember wondering what the heck happened to our elected officials because none of them were on TV or radio telling America what had happened or was happening. CNN and MSNBC became our leaders that day five years ago.
I could go on and on and I suspect most people would find me terribly unpatriotic for questioning my government rather than simply hating the terrorists, but I have always been curious about the unexplained.
We consider ourselves a nation of independent thinkers, but whenever anyone starts acting independent asking questions, etc. we tend to ridicule them as crackpots or worse.
A good friend of mine sent me the following link recently with the admonition that I should look it over and think about it before posting it to my site. I have done that and I must admit there is much there that I disagree with, there is even more that I just dont know what to think about it.
All in all though I think it is better to seek answers rather than hide from the questions so I share this link with you.
Maybe you already know the answers to some of these questions. I think my friend said it very well with the following:
Look at the videos 1 - 7 and then check out the other video offerings. I have been watching and reading about this stuff for about six months now and really dont know what to do with what I have come to believe. I dont believe everything I see but there are enough questions raised that should be simple enough to answer. That they are not being answered I find very disturbing.
[Authors note: the site, http://www.mime11.com/, has since changed owners. It once hosted a number of alternative explanations for what happened on 9/11/2001]
I suspect a reason why the questions are unanswered is that a large number of our otherwise understanding leaders just cant believe anyone could plot such a conspiracy against our own people.
What disturbs me most about all this is that we have somehow convinced ourselves that terrorists are not like us and they are exactly like us. They are people too.
They could be anybody, even Americans (as in the case of the Oklahoma bombing which has many unanswered questions too). I will end this the way I started and it is the point of my thinking.

Those of you following the Great Charade in Peoria over the naming of (Caterpillars new showroom that is being advertised as) the new museum, the truth is finally out in this article in todays Journal Star.
Finally the museum officials have admitted Caterpillar has bought their new showroom / museum and it would be a slap to Big Yellow to give it a name reflecting its true origins. Heaven forbid we should treat Caterpillar with the same disdain it has treated Peorians who retired from employment at Big Yellow.
In regard for the millions of dollars donated by Big Yellow we could call it The Great Healthcare Rip-off, From the Company that Doesnt Care, or maybe The ScroogeAzeum.
As if they couldnt put their collective noses too far up in the air our officials have no problem taking a slap at the tax paying Peorians who would like to see the name of Peoria in the title because their focus groups didnt like or know Peoria.
Well obviously focus groups must be more important than the people who actually live in and around Peoria. And let us not forget the patent attorneys, my goodness how could we ever consider a name they didnt approve of. I say to heck with false modesty, name the stupid thing The Big Yellow Museum and be done with it. Lets not be ashamed of the true ownership of this shameless land grab.
