In the end, we will remember not the words
of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.

Ben & Aaron are supposed to do some driver training with the instructor at school today. I hope they can both get along together in the same car. I also hope this “instructor” doesn’t teach them any bad habits.

Already the boys say he will be giving 2-for-1 credit. They will only be driving with him for a half-hour each but he has told them they will each get credit for a full hour. Isn’t that special?

From the looks of things so far this early morning it might just be another beautiful day! I am really enjoying this weather because I know it can’t be too long before it gets way too warm outside. I have plenty of outdoor things to do but I always seem to get sidetracked whenever I decide to go and do them.

Tracey and I both agree it is so nice to hear the birds singing in the morning again. There is a robin building a nest in a trellis near the sun room. Tracey keeps telling me to keep on eye on it so I can give her progress reports, but I can’t get too excited about watching the nest building. Almost every spring we get a robin building a nest on the actuator arm of the satellite dish but they always give it up after a few dish moves scare them off. That has got to be unsettling to have your “tree” start swiveling!

I received a link to some writing attributed to Lee Iacocca from my good friend Michael T. Michael exhibited his usual talent for understatement with only these terse words:
“Might be a good book to read.”

Yes indeed! I think you should read the link below and also click on the source link after you get there to find out more about Lee’s opinions and his book. I also think it might be a good book to read.

Had Enough?
