Clayton Hall, one of Noah’s high school buddies, came around for a visit yesterday. We hadn’t seen him for about a year since he went off to college in Arizona. Time flies!
I am almost scared to death to think what our Cilco bill is going to be. We have had the A/C on all month and it has been HOT! Oh Well. We still have good credit.
I was watching CNN last evening and had to turn it off when some so-called psycho expert starts talking about how America is turning into an adolescent country.
Really? I don’t know what she has been studying, but it wasn’t the America I live in. We work longer hours with fewer vacations than ANY country in the world. Our productivity is higher than ANY country in the world. Our people are always the first to go to battle for almost anybody anywhere in the world. Doesn’t sound so adolescent to me.
Long suffering perhaps, even stupid —— but we seem to be a very responsible population to me. So responsible we refuse to behead the tyrants who continue to exploit us. I think this talking head psycho expert was just trying to convince us all to continue looking the other way while rich CNN owners exploit us some more.
I will agree that those who live in TV land are quite adolescent —— just watch the news. Watch close though because what little bit of actual news there is will flash by so fast you might miss it between the disgusting commercials and the water skiing monkeys.
