What a beautiful day it was yesterday. I managed to get my 1st sunburn of the year while I was out mowing. Nothing serious just a bit of sting when I run a brush over my thinning hair! Ben is going full swing on his garden and Noah was busy planting flowers and bushes. Tracey did some tree trimming and provided a whole pile of sticks for her house wrens to build with.

I told her that’s the reason they come back every year is because the Goddess of Nesting Sticks keeps them in a ready supply of building materials!


Tracey was going to take some pictures of a beautiful red-tailed hawk we had cruising the sky yesterday but the camera battery went dead on her. The charger wasn’t in the camera bag where it belongs so we began a search of the house for it. Had it been a snake it would have bit me!

I looked all over the kitchen counter and never found it but Tracey found it. I was on the Nikon web site trying to see how much it would cost to buy a new one. I’m glad she found it! And after charging the battery last evening she also put it back where it belongs! Life is good.

It was absolutely beautiful yesterday! I wish we’d have a few days just like that!

Well, the countdown has begun...Andy has 7 days left, I have 10 and Ashley has 19! I have a feeling that this month is going to be a crazy one!
