NAACP Chairman Julian Bond stands by a more youthful image of himself at the 40th NAACP Image Awards Pre-Show in Los Angeles on Wednesday Feb. 11th, 2009.

Today is Lincoln’s birthday. Since I’m not a fan of the first Repuglican I don’t celebrate his unfortunate birth but I do note that on this day President Obummer comes to Peoria with the lackey Aaron Schock - the boy wonder selected for Congress.

I am ashamed that our President is coming to Peoria to listen to the CEO of CAT about anything to do with our country. CAT is probably one of the most un-American corporations in the U.S. and adamantly opposes Buy American.

Tracey will be leaving for work in about fifteen minutes and then she will probably be going to a mandatory meeting at the school for the Roboteers.

She already went to one of these to sign the papers for their trip to Milwaukee but the school fools didn’t have the papers to sign so it was a wasted trip.

Hopefully they have their snit stuff together this time and it won’t be a wasted trip. We will probably have to pay some money this year because the benevolent (NOT) Caterpillar backed out in the middle this year supposedly because of the economy.

I finally bought some of those “Forever” stamps at the Post Office yesterday. Since they seem to be raising the price of a stamp faster than they can deliver the mail I figure it might be a good investment. I can remember when the price of stamps —— well never mind. You either can remember too or don’t want to hear about it!

I’ve been watching the last couple of videos of your house. Wow! What a difference from what it is now. I don’t remember any of it so the changes must have been made before my time. It’s neat to see how the landscape has changed soo much over the years.

Hi Kyle —— it sure didn’t change on its own! When we moved in, as you can see in the videos, the house had been sitting vacant for a couple years and the weeds had really taken over.

There were also dozens of gnarly trees, shrubs and bushes that had been neglected and had to be removed. It took us a couple years just to get it all mowed and I spent many hours repairing our first lawn tractor as it was overworked trying to clear the mess.

That barn was awesome, though
