Preparing to unveil a proposed income tax hike this week, Gov. PQuinn said Sunday it was the least bad option to ask many residents to pay more money to rescue a state government saddled in debt by the legislature. PQuinn is considering raising the states personal income tax rate, to 4.5% from 3%.
Tracey arrived home late in the afternoon yesterday with news and gossip from the anniversary party in #Watson. She was also loaded up with ham, potato salad, cupcakes, broccoli salad, cookies and I dont know what else from the party. That made supper decisions real easy!
So I guess Saturday was a great day for everybody all the way around. Tracey really enjoyed spending the weekend with her family, Ben & Aaron had a good time in Wisconsin and I had fun greeting the boys when they came home all full of vinegar from their trip. Not to mention supper with Mom, Alan, Glo and DD. Life is good.

I had planned on finding a place to bolt down the bracket for the GPS unit on my scooter but just never worked up the energy to do it. In fact I dont have much energy for anything anymore and I have finally agreed to take the sleep study to see if I can get a CPAP machine to help me with my sleep apnea.
I have been avoiding this whole mess because of the cost, a night in the hospital, dealing with the which doctors (as in Which doctor do you see and I reply Yes. I see a Witch Doctor and he / she PRACTICES on me.")
Anyway if it is the sleep apnea that is making me feel all run down, and Tracey swears it probably is, then I guess it would be worthwhile to put up with the medical extortion, blackmail and expense.

On the sleep subject, my dad tried one of those machines. He just rented one for a week to try it. He never used it but the first night because he felt claustrophobic. I do know one thing... It sure stopped his LOUD snoring when he used it!

Dave needs to join you on your sleep over. He hasnt done it for the same reasons...expense being the big one! My dad did it and has a machine. It helped him.
Do you have to use OSF drs., hospitals, etc.? If so, Morton has a brand new sleep center. That would avoid the hospital scene.
Good luck!

Hi Kyle and Tammy! I have to use either St. Francis or Pekin so I thought I would just go to Pekin and get it over with.
I grumble about the cost but I think the biggest reason is that I HATE dealing with those witch doctors and their minions. You would never know I married a nurse would you!?
Think about it —— the first thing these wackos do is take your clothes away from you, give you a flimsy gown that dont fit and make you sit on a freezing metal table on your bare buns. And it just gets worse from there.
And you are right about the snoring Kyle! My whole family would love to be rid of my horrendous snoring!

Update on flapjacks....
You can buy the $5.00 tickets for the pancakes at Applebees this Saturday at TAPS ahead of time OR you can buy the tickets at the door. TAPS just said that if people buy them ahead of time, then theyll have a better idea of how many would be coming.
