The government is propping up dozens of companies left teetering from one of the worst recessions in decades, but AIG has emerged as the most reviled. Now the controversy moves to Capitol Hill. AIG Chief Executive Edward Liddy, who took over after the government stepped in, will appear before lawmakers and face questions about bonuses and the bailout.
Tracey and I spent some time yesterday going through her pictures from #Watson. The picture above is of her parents, Gerald & Mary Neal. They have been married 50 years! Tracey and I had a good time deciding which of the duplicates to keep and we marveled at how the kids had grown, those who looked older and those who didnt, when we come upon the picture of her folks arriving in their Blazer.
I didnt know they had a new car and then, just to show you how different directions a conversation can take, Tracey said, Well they had to wait to see if the bull was going to live before they bought the car.
It seems her Dad had bought a bull and right after they brought it home it got sick and started losing weight. After some vet bills, antibiotics and having the bull swallow a magnet the critter started getting better, so they knew they could buy the car without any further bull expenses. And thats no bull. Sorry, no picture of the bull. It just goes to show you that you never really know what to expect when you get a bunch of your family together and where the conversation may lead you!
