I woke up this morning to the sound of thunder and pouring rain; so much for that blizzard the forecasters were all excited about. It is a good thing all this rain wasn’t snow because it would have been a lot.
The weather was certainly miserable enough last evening when we went out to eat. The temperature wasn’t all that bad at about 38°F but the wind was vicious and the rain was driven right into you. Tracey and I shared dinner with Alan, Gloria, DD and Mom at the Cracked Barrel as usual. I really appreciate the conversations we have on just about any subject in the world. You just never know what may come up.
#PowerOutage Well isn’t that Special! I no sooner hit enter on the last comment and the power went out! I didn’t even have a chance to proof read it. Now that there is some light outside I can see that we did get some snow after all, it looks about three or four inches of the stuff. I doubt it will last long. Illinois weather for you. You never know what’s next.

Isn’t it wonderful.....I had a choice when I got up this morning of running a shop vac or pushing a snow shovel!
(I chose “C”...coffee!) Now I’m running a shop vac while I do laundry. What a glorious day today!
I heard a certain brother of yours was singing “Let It Snow, Let It Snow...” bah humbug!
