I went to bed too early last night so I was up at 3:45 this morning. I started with my “Black Friday” Curmudgeon article above and then took Tracey to work.

I had to add some more to the Curmudgeon after witnessing the early morning amateurs weaving down the road and stumbling through the line at Stake A Shake. Good grief but some people are stupid.


Our refrigerator is comfortably loaded with leftovers from yesterday and I am actually looking forward to some leftover turkey and stuff this afternoon. Not just stuffing but stuff! Corn, taters and gravy, etc! And pie!

I have to do better than yesterday —— my blood sugar got a bit high but it was worth it!


I can’t stop thinking about those idiots freezing out there in a line to go shopping. I’m tempted to call the hospital and see if anybody showed up with frostbite or hypothermia this morning. I’m still shaking my head. Happy Black Friday indeed.

The only time I’ve participated in Black Friday was to get Grandpa Neal his new monitor online (no lines ) so I don’t think I’ve done too bad.

I do have to go to Tandy Leather Factory today, though--not because of the sales, but because I have a 50% off coupon that expires Saturday.

Hi Noah —— I guess I should have been more explicit. I was referring mostly to those who stand in lines for hours to get in the door before dawn.
