#DiscoverCard I was sound asleep during my morning snooze yesterday when the phone jangled me rudely awake. By the time I figured out what planet I was on, found my glasses and stumbled into the next room the answering machine had already answered the phone. All I caught were the words Discover Card Fraud Prevention Security Department. I hit play on the machine after the last beep and learned that due to suspicious activity your account will be deactivated until we are contacted. At the same time I was looking at this email on my screen.
I called the number immediately and the first thing they asked me was for my account number. Understandably I was reluctant to give my number over the phone so they decided they could use my name. I was asked if I had bought merchandise or services from Wal-mart, Tandy, and IHOP in Phoenix. I told them my wife probably had and please turn the card back on. I called Tracey after to let her know that her wild spending spree had been noticed by the Discover people and that I had saved her from being deactivated.

Thank you for keeping me activated. I need my plastic for 1 more day. You can temporarily take it away from me when I get home.

Oh Fiddlesticks! Its not every day you get to spend money on our kids so spend away; if I had really been worried about it I would have left it deactivated.

LOL! You guys! I have no fear she will spoil Noah - probably Max & Zoey too - but she wont bankrupt us because she works hard for the money.
