There are two ways to spread a lie:
telling it and believing it.

I woke up this morning to the front door swinging wide open, the wind howling in and the furnace running. My immediate thought was the hundred$ of dollar$ we spend for propane! Ben or one of his friends left the door open —— again. This is the third time this winter. These guys are licensed to operate motor vehicles but can’t be trusted to close a damn door!?

We went to dinner last evening with Mom, DD, Alan and Gloria. The Special (as it is every Sat.) was chicken with rice. Tracey ordered that and then the waitress came back to offer her chicken with mashed potatoes because they were out of rice. This was at 4:30 p.m. before the evening crowd had arrived. Some Special. Tracey didn’t want chicken on mashed potatoes and ordered something else.

Aaron, Ben and Kiefer went out job hunting yesterday afternoon and came home with several job applications. Most of the places they were interested in only take applications on-line so they will have to do it on the Internets. And a couple places they were interested in aren’t hiring; one of them had just recovered from bankruptcy.

The job market around here isn’t looking so hot I guess. I know one thing —— they would make lousy door men.
