These pictures begin after Tracey & Ben get their crappy rental car and trek from Las Vegas to Death Valley, CA. They begin after they get to the Stovepipe Wells Village where they spent the night. There were a few desert bugs in the room which freaked Ben out a bit so we had to have pictures of them! It was over 90°F at breakfast the next morning when they headed out into the desert. There are some pictures of the “campground” —— how would you like to pitch your tent in that place? There are a couple pictures of Ben in the sand. He has two cameras! I will try to get him to share his pictures too!
I think that by “campground” they meant “place to park your air conditioned RV”, haha

#BladderCancer Today I go to the hospital to get scoped, scanned and biopsied and I can’t say I am looking forward to it. Tracey has the day off so she can haul me to the hospital and back. I hope to be home by early afternoon and maybe I’ll even have some results from all this. We have to be at the hospital by 7:30 this morning so they can do their thing at 9:30 —— sounds like I will be sitting around waiting for a while.
#BladderCancer Thanks Noah, I just got home about an hour ago. They removed some cancerous tissue from the inside lining of my bladder and all should be well once I heal up. The Dr. said we caught it really soon so no worries. I have to go back every 4 months for a couple years so they can make sure it doesn’t come back. I am pretty sore right now but should be all healed up in a couple weeks, but for now I will be peeing pink for a while as it heals up. Getting old is NOT for sissies! They put me out for the procedure so I didn’t feel anything while they were cutting and although I am pretty tender I got some good pain pills for that. Plus I can’t mow grass or anything for a while —— so win!

Wow! Well I’m really glad they caught it early! Hopefully it never comes back and you’re good to go, and in the mean time enjoy the pain pills and the lack of mowing.

Just got through talking to Dee,she told me you had added to your post from this morning,good news they caught that early,guess sometimes there is no indication of a problem like that till its advance,hopefully you will heal quickly. Love and hugs, Mom
