Tracey was supposed to have today off but a scheduling screw-up caused a nurse to be scheduled in two places at the same time so Tracey pays the difference with her day off. Thats what happens when she is nice to her staff and allows them to trade days on the schedule. They mess it up and then wont own up to it. I think she should go back to making a schedule that doesnt change unless she changes it.

I should have mowed yesterday! (I would have been OUTSIDE my house!)
Instead, I was in the kitchen....not a good place for me yesterday!
I made a mock apple pie out of zucchini. I put it in the oven. There was another frozen crust that was all broken so I thought Id just cinnamon and sugar it and back the pieces.
I set the timer for 15 min. at 450 degree and then it was supposed to be 250 for 45 min. Well, I just wanted to take the extra pie tin and put it in the garden to scare away critters......can you guess what happened!? (weeds, a couple good size cucumbers to pick, fixing some vines so they grow in a different direction, etc....)
Yep, I came in to smoke and VERY BURNT pieces of pie crust! Ashley thought that I had cooked popcorn so she didnt come look. I opened windows and turned on the big house fan. Well, it still stinks in here! I guess I will be washing walls, etc. today!
I told everybody already that for Christmas I want (need) a timer that hooks right on to me! Then, to top it all off, I came home from Kroger at 9:15 to find that I had left a gas burner on low from dinner! No one else noticed it -- Dave even cleaned up dinner for me so I could get going to Kroger! How does the brain know that you are going to be 50?
I think Ill stick to cleaning today and not cooking!

My goodness Tammy! You did have a no-good, very bad day! At least nobody got hurt and the house didnt burn down. We have left the oven on a time or two I say we because both Tracey and I have done it. But that just wasted propane and made the kitchen warmer. Dont let it get you down, it happens to all of us eventually.
