Animal Tracks

A laughing gull hops on another in distress at the Breton National Wildlife Refuge on North Breton Island, LA. The distressed bird, which was unable to fly, was collected by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for possible rehabilitation, and for analysis to determine whether it was affected by the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.

I was reluctant to go anywhere yesterday morning because I was hoping for a call from the infamous Tech Support at Yahoo Web Hosting. Nothing happened by 9 a.m. so Tracey and I took the #Honda Hybrid to the airport and left it for Noah to drive when he gets there today.

We stopped at a few places on the way home and I had virtually given up on the phone call from #Yahoo when my cell phone rang shortly after we got home at noon. I had a pleasant discussion with another “engineer” who sounded just as clueless as all the rest I have talked with. He said he would call me back when he got it fixed. No call and it is not fixed. I don’t know what he worked on for the rest of the day yesterday but it obviously wasn’t their problem with my web page.

I also got a message from the doctor’s office. My tests were fine and I should schedule another visit in 3 to 6 months. Now I wonder if they think that is the answer to my request for a copy of the results? I don’t give a hoot if I ever see the doctor again but I would like to know the results of those tests. I’ll give it until Monday before I call again if they don’t turn up in the mail.
