Aaron was up and banging around in the bathroom by 5:30 a.m. He wanted to leave early so he could vote for the first time. I hope he wasn’t too disappointed.

I say that because I was really disappointed in the process this time —— and concerned.

Tracey and I stopped by the high school on our way to drop her off at work. After I was through marking my ballot I took it to the elderly lady at the voting scanner and told her I had undervoted so the machine wouldn’t spit it back out.

She said the machine wasn’t working anyway and to just stuff my ballot into a bin at the bottom of the machine.

I am seriously concerned that if they ever do get around to counting my ballot they will just throw it out because I purposely undervoted.

I don’t vote for Repuglicans and if there was nobody running against one I didn’t #Vote at all. This is the problem with a polling place that uses technology the polling officials don’t understand or know how to use.

After all the money that is spent on these fancy ballot machines there really is no excuse they don’t work the only day of the year they are supposed to.

To be perfectly honest I’m not even sure where I am supposed to go to vote here. Apparently they don’t know how to make voting districts because the last time I voted we lived down in Mesa and for some ungodly reason everyone in my voting district had to go and vote at a church that was 8 miles away--that’s TWO voting districts away from where I lived. Still, I’d just be voting for Governor and I don’t really care which one gets the job. Using the descriptions from campaign ads, the dying old lady and the closet gay guy are my options, and the dying old lady has been doing a good job since she took over for Napalitano and the closet gay guy has some good policy ideas but if he does what he says he wants to do and repeals SB 1070 then pretty much the entire state is going to hate him.

Hi Noah,
I just have to go vote against the GQP —— I don’t really like any of the candidates all that much. I just vote against the lesser of evils because they all suck. I can see where the GQP is taking us and I don’t want to be there.
