It seems awfully odd not to have to get Tracey off to work on a Monday morning.

I sent her an email this morning but didn’t get anything back. I’m guessing they charge too much for an Internet connection at her hotel and she doesn’t want to spend the money.

I was going to text her but wasn’t sure what time she is getting up. Oh Well. I’m sure I will hear from her eventually. I just hope she isn’t bored out of her skull with all these meetings.

I went to Bob Evan’s in Pekin for breakfast and Tracey called to tell me she was on “break” from her meetings.

She found out there is nothing scheduled for the evenings after today and asked how long it would take me to get to Boston.

I would love to spend some time in Boston with her but by the time I drove there it would be late tomorrow evening at the earliest and I would be exhausted. I would also have to drive home again!

I checked the airlines and train schedules. A flight would cost at least $1200 round trip —— too expensive. The train takes over 22 hours to get there from Chicago. Twenty-two hours?! Good grief.

I wish I had known ahead of time. I just don’t think one or maybe two evenings in Boston is worth all the rush or expense. I wish I had known ahead of time but her boss told Tracey there was stuff planned every evening. Her boss lied to her again.
