The boys are really thrilled about the amount of food in the house. Tracey went grocery shopping with me yesterday and we both loaded the cart up pretty well. Not only did we get stocked up on things but we did it much faster than usual with both of us grabbing stuff off the shelves. It was a little different story when we got to the cash register but —— Oh Well.

We also spent some time in the basement tracking down the coax TV wire to Tracey’s room. It took some searching, climbing and wire checking but we eventually got it working right again. I’m not sure why but it started working when we disconnected a couple of the downstairs rooms we aren’t using anyway. Maybe a bad wire was shorting things out?

Ok...enough rain and storms! I feel like I was up all night! I just heard one of my sumps kick in. That means there’s a 50-50 chance the basement is wet. Oh boy! I don’t know if I want to even look! Dave only has 1/2 of the basement fixed with new dewatering. He hasn’t done the other 1/2 because all the stuff from the 1st 1/2 is in the way.

Jackie and Dick are here from TN. They leave tomorrow to go back down yonder. They are coming over here tonight for dinner along with Heidi and Doug.

Hi Tammy,
I agree! Enough with all the banging, crashing and bright lights in the middle of the night. It is hard to get any sleep with all that going on! Our sump has been running too. We are lucky we only have a small part of the basement that gets wet if it rains a lot.
