Well —— yesterday’s trip to the quacks office was rather anti-climatic. They had made such a big deal about how it would simply be irresponsible if the doctor didn’t see me more than once a year, and then without any prompting from me the guy says to make an appointment for one year? But then I couldn’t make an appointment because their computer calendar doesn’t let them schedule that far in advance. What? The ritual blood taking was comical too. The first lady poked around and decided to get help so then their bestest blood letter showed up with a trainee in tow and they proceeded to discuss how hard it is to find “deep veins” as if I don’t know what they really mean. At least the second gal hit a gusher the first stab.

Ewww....a gusher! (not before my coffee!)

We have been very lucky over here with blood draws. The OSF here is great and Andy has good ones at the Rt. 91 OSF. I don’t think I could take more than 1 stab or person. I’d be going out the door! I’m not a huge fan of getting blood drawn to begin with so they’d better get it right the first try!

Hoping to go mower shopping tonight. We have a busy weekend so I need my mower! It seems the month of Aug. is always busy.

Weird = I’m NOT registering anyone for Morton 709 today!

Hi Tammy,
I know what you mean about the NOT registering for school. I just finally removed the grade school phone number from my phone —— along with the high school phone number. It has been way over a year since we had any reason to call those places and I don’t miss it!
