Sept. 11th

On this date in 2001 Islamic extremists are alleged to have perpetrated a series
of coordinated suicide attacks upon America. They supposedly hijacked
four commercial passenger jet airliners and used them to attack
the Pentagon and the World Trade Center causing the immediate
death of 2,974 people not counting the 19 hijackers. America
retaliated by invading Afghanistan and Iraq.

Tracey had a good time with her sister Carolyn and Carolyn’s husband Joe at the memorial yesterday at the Caterpillar Wildlife Park. She brought home pictures of some of the critters she saw on the trails.


Mom, DD, Tracey and I went to Stake-n-Shake for supper last evening —— a little change in menu. Afterward we gossiped at Mom’s trailer about DD’s job and the new doctor that Tracey will have to deal with at her clinic.

Yes it is a great picture —— I’m not sure but I think it was from one of the reunions we had at their house back in 2003. I should probably check that but it is a nice picture regardless. Have a Great Day!
