I guess today’s picture was more appropriate for Halloween but I couldn’t resist. I really love this picture.


Since there was no mail yesterday I decided I had no excuse to leave the house.

Speaking of mail, I really miss the mail carrier we used to have. She retired and now our service just plain sucks.

We had put mail in our box to be picked up Saturday and it was still there late Saturday evening. I guess whoever was supposed to provide service on Saturday took the day off? Not a big deal but it gets annoying.

We have one of those pump Thermos things we sometimes use for our morning coffee. It saves a trip to the kitchen when you want more coffee.

I kept furiously pumping the darn thing and no coffee came out. I assumed it was broken. Then I discovered I had forgotten to put the siphon tube in the darn thing. I guess I really needed the coffee this morning.
