About every five or six weeks salt is delivered to our house for our water softener. They have been leaving three bags every time and I can never seem to catch the guy when he comes.

I happened to think of this while I was headed to town yesterday to get some groceries so I called the water softener people and told them to change it to just two bags from now on.

The salt truck was backing out of our driveway when I arrived home and the guy rolled down his window to tell me he had to come back from Delavan to take back the third bag.

I had specifically told the lady who answered the phone when I called that it was no big deal if they left three this time but to change it for future deliveries.

I told the delivery driver this and he just shook his head and drove off. I just wish people would LISTEN occasionally. Now the delivery guy is probably thinking ill of me when I wasn’t the one who caused him to drive back for one bag of salt. Sheesh!
