After yesterdays adventures in the ER we decided not to go to Moms for supper last evening. We stopped at the Bob Evans in E. Peoria because we hadnt eaten all day and then went home to take an afternoon nap. We were both exhausted from the morning of hospital tension.
Yesterday wasnt all bad news, we got a call from the furniture store that our new chairs were in and we scheduled to have them delivered tomorrow.
Now we have to get busy and finish arranging the room so we will be ready when they get here. Tracey has said several times that she feels like she is camping since we have moved out half the furniture and she doesnt have her couch.

Glad to hear youre feeling better. Its so frustrating to feel damned if you do/dont go to ER. As in our experience with Moms visit, youre left wondering what happened and why...

Hi DD, I knew what happened and to some degree why. I had no quarrel with them checking out my heart. I understand that reasoning, but I cant excuse them for ignoring my complaints about stomach pain.
I know that I could have been wrong and that it could have been my heart. BUT they should also have explored MY explanation that it was my stomach and they should have offered me the pain medication a full two hours sooner.
That they left me to suffer, moan and groan for those two hours when I was clearly in pain is inexcusable and for that; I hold a grudge and will still be reluctant to go the ER for anything again. Damned if you do and if you dont.

Wow...busy weekend for you guys!
Dave has a hietal hernia or however you spell it. His is triggered by drinking too much coffee and/or eating too many chocolate sweets over a period of time. We spent MEGA MONIES to find it out, but in the end, we treated it ourselves. If it flares up, he drinks less than a 1/4 c. of milk before eating meals for about a week, cuts back on coffee and chocolate and then it settles back down and goes away.
Youll have to figure out what sets it off. The milk works like a charm for Dave.
