If you had to identify, in one word, the reason why the human race has not achieved, and never will achieve, its full potential, that word would be MEETINGS.
We started yesterday morning out with a problem to fix. Tracey noticed she hadn’t been receiving email from her #Frontier account. So I started researching the problem and we discovered her last email was from Frontier announcing the “migration” of her email to their new system. And they did migrate all her old email to the new inbox, but nothing new from that date forward. So there were a couple days of email unaccounted for.
After some looking through menus, help screens, etc. I soon discovered their screw-up. There is a setting to forward email and we had it set to forward her email to a Gmail account. Under the old system it forwarded a copy to Gmail and saved a copy in the Frontier inbox. The NEW Frontier system was just forwarding it and not saving one in the Frontier account.
Whomever set up this wonderful new mail system evidently doesn’t really understand how email is supposed to work. We got things all straightened out and I didn’t have to talk to any Tech Support. Tracey agrees that could have gotten ugly.

Tracey called from work in the late morning to tell me the Internet was down at the clinic and she invited me to come take her out to lunch since she couldn’t get any work done.
It took me a bit longer to get there because Court St. traffic was all backed up (again) because the intersection at Court and Parkway was all tore up. It looks like they are digging for gold.
We went to #SteaknShake first, waited to be seated, then left when we discovered we had been seated next to a whole table full of 6 to 8 year old screeching girls whose parents had no intention of shutting them up. We ate at #BobEvans instead.

We went to the airport after Tracey got off work and retrieved our #Honda. Noah had borrowed it for the week and he went back home to Phoenix yesterday. He sent us texts and a picture so we knew where to find it at the airport.

Supper at #Dennys in N. Pekin on the way home was sort of a disappointment —— they put spinach in Tracey’s omelet and she had to send it back. Blech on spinach!

I know some of you are probably tired of all the political stuff. And I’m really not all that thrilled about Obama’s record as President. But I am so appalled by the blatant lies of Romney and the fear he will get elected that I MUST share the deceit this man represents. I will be voting against him.
