There were problems with the #Blog server all day yesterday. I don’t know if they were caused by the mess on the east coast or just the usual bungling incompetence of the people at Yahoo! who are supposed to keep things running. It has gone down a couple times already this morning too.

We had a nice visit with Noah last evening. We went to Texas Roadhouse in E. Peoria to enjoy some rare beef and conversation. It was so very good to catch up with what is going on with him. He is scheduled to fly back to Arizona next Monday.

I just got another one of those chain emails lamenting how employers make employees pee in a cup for drug testing to keep their jobs —— the gripe being that people who get “welfare” ought to have to pee in a cup too.

I agree —— every CEO of every company who got bailed out and all of the upper echelon should have to pass a drug test.

Actually I think most people have it backwards. Instead of forcing others to endure these draconian right wing policies we should all be rebelling about ANYONE forced to pee in a cup for any reason. (Except, of course, legitimate medical testing by your doctor and then only if you volunteer to do it.)
