This Brown Anole displays a red warning from his throat an as he protects his territory on a post at Cedar Key, Fla. These lizards are about eight inches long and live in shrubs, trees, fences, or rocks and like to be fairly close to the ground for escape. The lizards eat all kinds of insects such as spiders, ants, grasshoppers, and beetles.
Tracey had to start the morning at the clinic yesterday. There was a plumbing leak discovered in a wall and now the repairs begin —— after a lot of finger pointing and arguing about who caused it and who is paying to repair it. Tracey doesnt care about any of that, she just wants her new clinic new again.
I have to give huge thanks to my niece Lizz Fort and her husband Drew as well as my brother Alan and his wife Gloria. They spent most the day clearing out the contents of Moms trailer. Tracey also arrived around 11 a.m. after leaving the clinic. I was there too but I didnt do near as much as any of the others as I am old, fat and slow! We got almost all of the furniture moved out and will be back again today to do some more. I just hope none of the garbage bags we left outside have blown away as I hear the wind shrieking out there this morning.
