Hilarious! Thanks for the outloud chuckle this morning. I loved the “Pinky Toe Purpose”. So true!

I cleaned more at Maxines on Main yesterday. Today it’s off to kiddie land.

Ashley and my neice are having a garage sale today at my sister’s house. So glad that I’m not a part of that!

Ashley got a call yesterday for a job interview. She’s so excited. So, everybody keep all of your fingers and toes (and eyes too) for Ashley on Thursday! She’s interviewing to work at a store called Journeys in the mall in Bloomington.

She’s been applying and waiting for a month to get any kind of call. Andy said that she could work where he does. They are in need of landscape waterers. He said the pay would probably be better and she’d get her own truck.

I asked if I could move over there and do that. That would be a great job to me! Outside...no public...just a hose and the earth....ahhhhhhh...that would be nice!

Good morning Tammy,
I’ve never been very fond of garage sales —— either attending or working —— It always seems a bit creepy to me to be buying other folks’ hand-me-downs.

Sounds like Andy has a better job offer! Aaron starts his new job (at the same place, Multiad) tomorrow. There is a little twist to it though. He won’t be on their payroll as an employee but as an independent contractor. So he will have to get some tax advice, etc. about being self employed, taxes, deductions, etc. I don’t think I would want to hassle with all that paperwork but I expect Aaron will do fine once he gets it all figured out.

The kids and I used to garage sale faithfully every week and it was loads of fun! We would pack up the van with snacks and drinks and head out. We found lots of bargains over the years and the kids loved spending the change I would give them. Alot of their toys growing up were from garage sales. Saved me money and they loved them. I’m not too fond of going to sales now.

Good luck on your 1st day Aaron. I wouldn’t want the tax hassle either, but I’m not fond of tax stuff anyway!

Tracey used to buy tons of kid clothes when the boys were growing out of their stuff every week it seemed. I know she saved us a ton of money over buying them new. Fortunately she never brought home any ugly lamps or weird stuff like some folks seem to do. I used to hear stories from guys at work about hideous things their wives brought home from these sales!
