It appears this morning (so far) that the blog will work a little better. I dont know what Yahoo was doing with the servers yesterday but things were pretty hit or miss all day long. I must be getting more complacent in my old age because I didnt bother to call them to complain.
Aaron has settled into his job pretty well. It now appears that he will be on the payroll after all so he wont have to figure out all the tax angles of being self employed. They are still calling him a contract employee though because they arent going to give him full benefits like paid vacation, health plan, etc. He is hoping that will change by the 1st of the year. As much as I would love to give him all kinds of advice I am trying to stay out of it. Trying.

YIKES! You trying to scare everybody away this morning with THAT picture?! *mental note: stay out of view of Traceys camera in the future*
I totally understand! Its so hard not to still mother and/or father our kids even after they are adults. Old habits die hard I guess. I find my lips start moving before the brain engages so I stop mid advice. Ha! Ha!
Ok, so wheres the sun when needed? Pool party today with Jackie and Dick and all. Sheesh!

That picture is fine! At least you are smiling and not trying to hide like some do.
Yep. I have a real hard time with the free advice. There are times when Im just sure I can see what is coming but have to shush. And I can remember when my Dad was a Buttinsky and I would get so angry with him. So unless it involves severe bodily harm I am trying to keep my lip zipped.
I dont mind it being a little cloudy. And as much as I know we probably need the rain I dont want any because it will make the grass (weeds) grow.

It got to 100°F two years ago today Here was the headline:
Heat wave brings 4th warmest day in 24 years

Ok...that headline and temp. from 2 years ago makes me very thankful for today! Glad Andy wasnt working outside that summer!
Yes, I, too, would get mad when my parents tried to butt in and give too much advice. I really try to listen to myself talk when Im being motherly. Then I have to tell myself to hush!
