There is a small compartment on the back of Traceys scooter and there is a small light in the compartment that turns on when you open the hatch. If the hatch isnt closed the battery will be run down. I had to put the charger on the scooter battery yesterday. I also had to break into the compartment under the seat to get at the battery because, you guessed it, the seat latch is battery operated. I think the Italians missed something on this design.
