Tracey and I went to see San Andreas at the theater in N. Pekin. It wasn’t a bad action flick. Very loud. Lots of entertaining but totally unbelievable action. And steroids.


Aaron has found an apartment in Peoria very near to where he works and will be moving in July. So now he wants my crock pot recipes and advice on how to cook them. No problem there but he will either have to cut them in 1/2 or eat leftovers for a week.

1st day of the month so I spent some time changing passwords all over the Internets. Still waiting for that new system that will make passwords obsolete —— because they really are anyway.

Update: 05/01/19
I have recently started using a password manager that encrypts passwords so I don’t have to change them so regularly anymore.

Some of you may remember I actively campaigned against Hillarity Clintoon eight years ago and I am doing so again. I think Bernie Sanders is a far better candidate (just as I knew Obama was better) and there is no reason to accept the “inevitability” of Hillarity. I also have to say in all fairness I will vote against any GQP Teahadi candidate so I might have to hold my nose to do that —— but I am definitely not voting for Hillarity in the primary.

I’m getting real tired of the local media parroting #BruceRuiner’s spin on how he plans to save Illinois with tax breaks for the rich and cutting pensions, worker compensation, and unions. This guy is a vulture capitalist and now he wants to bankrupt the citizens of Illinois to enrich himself and his cronies.

Vulture capitalists do NOT infuse money into a failing business, or a successful one either. They buy up controlling interest, max out the credit by borrowing against the assets, pocket the money and declare bankruptcy on the loans leaving dead corporations and jobless employees without pensions.

And now he wants to do that to Illinois.
