Last Thursday I torched the burn pile at the south end of the property so I spent a while yesterday with shovel and rake consolidating the remaining chunks and limbs that didn’t burn. The start of the burn for next season most likely.
I also tore down a few wasp and hornet nests from last year before the little buggers get a chance to repopulate. Hate those things.
And then I spent about an hour on the mower. I have mowed most of the property and have only the hill behind the house before I have completed the entire mowing. But, of course, the grass will be ready to start all over again in a few days.
