I’ve read a few stories now about a new breakthrough in technology. Edible wrappers. The idea is you get this item of food that is wrapped all nice in a plastic like substance made from milk. So you just eat the whole thing —— wrapper and all.
YUCK! Can you imagine what might be all over the outside of that wrapper? Isn’t part of the reason for a wrapper to keep the food clean from filthy hands, bugs, dust, whatever?
I think this is a monumentally bad idea.

Perhaps it is because we live near a gun range and have neighbors who shoot constantly —— but I can’t really imagine how anyone can mistake bubble wrap for gunfire?
