I have been making an effort to avoid too much political ranting because it just raises my blood pressure for no good reason. I’ve read enough to believe the majority of people (around the world, not just Americans) think this election provides no good result. Both candidates suck.
With the U.S. election only days away, a new poll shows the majority of voters are disgusted by the election and think both major-party presidential candidates, Hillarity Clintoon and Agolf Twitler, are dishonest.
The last two times we have visited the #CrackerBarrel I have taken the manager aside to bend his ear about an employee there.
There is a fellow who clears tables. He doesn’t gossip or visit with anybody. I’ve never heard him say a word. He just works clearing and wiping tables. Hard and fast. There are usually stains on his shirt beneath his arms and down his back.
At first the managers get a concerned look when I start describing this guy. Like they are worried they are going to have to make apologies for him or something.
I tell managers this guy deserves a raise. A big raise. They grin but I doubt the fellow gets his much deserved raise. I’ll keep rooting for him though.

Tracey and I often comment on this about many of the shows we watch. Watching people run up stairs with an empty coffee cup is odd.
