We traded in my old car for Traceys new car so I had to drive to a title office in Morton yesterday to get my license plates registered to Traceys old car (my new car!). The dealership refused to do both plates. Cheap skates.
I had cleaned out all the junk from the old car and put it into a cardboard box now sitting on the kitchen table. Where does all that stuff come from?! I took some things like Traceys sunglasses out of her old car and swapped some of my stuff in. She had considerably less junk in her car. This weekend we will finish up the trade and program some of the functions in her new car.

President-elect Agolf Twitler may be touting his deal with Carrier as a triumph for working-class Americans, but Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders is hearing none of it.
Today, about 1,000 Carrier workers and their families should be rejoicing, Sanders wrote in a Thursday op-ed for The Washington Post. But the rest of our nations workers should be very nervous.
Twitler has endangered the jobs of workers who were previously safe in the United States, Sanders wrote. Why? Because he has signaled to every corporation in America that they can threaten to offshore jobs in exchange for business-friendly tax benefits and incentives. Even corporations that werent thinking of offshoring jobs will most probably be re-evaluating their stance this morning. And who would pay for the high cost for tax cuts that go to the richest businessmen in America? The working class of America.
These are the kind of deals which doom alternative energy sources from being developed and implemented. Supporting failing power plants instead of investing in new cleaner, safer technology.
A multibillion-dollar subsidy for power giant Exelon Corp. to keep two unprofitable nuclear plants in Illinois operating during the next 13 years was on its way to a supportive Gov. Bruce Ruiner Thursday after days of rushed negotiations and hours of contentious debate by lawmakers.
