I finally got a chance to drive Traceys new #FordEscape last evening. We went to Olive Garden in Peoria to pick up some food and brought it back home to eat. One of the neatest new bits of technology is the adaptive cruise control. Once you set the speed it will automatically slow down if the car in front of you is slower. If you pull over to pass them the speed immediately resumes. That is pretty cool.
The next most interesting is the lane keeping system. If you get too close to the lines on the road the steering wheel vibrates and it gently tries to steer you back. You can easily override this by keeping a firm grip if you want to cross the line. If your turn signal is on it doesnt activate.

Im a little worried that this might get more ugly. I dont see thousands of veterans standing still to get maced or shot with rubber bullets. This may turn the tide either way. #DakotaAccess
