There is currently a major hurricane devastating Puerto Rico. Again. There have been SEVEN named hurricanes this season alone and two have already made land fall in America ——
It isn’t even October yet.

You would think this would be news plastered across every major news network as de facto evidence of the effects of global climate change. You would be very wrong. In fact meteorologists are still at risk of being fired if they even mention those words.

I think people living along a coastline ought to start thinking about moving inland before their property is worthless. It might already be too late for those suffering this year.

This link from weather.com doesn’t even mention climate change. It talks all around it but the experts who know can’t say it.

As with all of his past docu-dramas #KenBurns bolsters the “accepted” truth underlying history and whitewashes the unaccepted. Paid propaganda in the guise of “history”.

“On the 32nd anniversary of the 1985 Mexico City earthquake, a powerful earthquake struck Mexico resulting in deaths and injuries as well as extensive damage.”

I’ve read this lede or some variation on almost every article about the Mexico earthquake yesterday. I can’t help but wonder if the people writing this actually think there is some significance to this “anniversary” or if it is just a coincidence? And if it is just a coincidence, which I suspect the vast majority believe —— why make it the first sentence of the first paragraph?
