09/24/17 Quote «The Legel Report»
I prefer someone who burns the flag and wraps themselves up in the Constitution over someone who burns the Constitution and wraps themselves up in the flag.
We are pretty good tippers. Not great, but we always tip at least 20% and more if the service is at least average or better. And we almost always tip in cash. (If you have to ask why cash? thats another whole topic).
I use that funny money as our best waitress said $2 bills, $1 coins and 50¢ pieces. Just to keep it interesting.
There can be a down side to being a good tipper. Although it is usually nice to have waiters and waitresses want you for a customer, the not-so-good ones enjoy the tips as well. We recently got greeted at the door by a so-so waitress and she immediately took us to her section.
She really isnt a very good waitress. Shes nice and personable. She talks to everyone. A lot. So you dont get your food very fast and almost never get drink refills. She is too busy visiting with everyone. And once she didnt put our order in until half an hour later when we asked about the delay.
She means well and I havent the heart to actively avoid her but I always groan inwardly when she rushes to the door to poach us over to her table.
