The #FordEscape repairs turned out to be painless. They had replaced the door handles on a safety recall almost a year ago and evidently hadn’t snapped the wire connection secure enough. It had worked loose and all they had to do was snap it back together. They didn’t even generate any paper work so there is no record for their screw up. They did apologize a lot so I guess that counts for something.

I went to the monthly #RetireeBreakfast yesterday. It seems we are all reaching an age where somebody is sick or dying. I feel guilty sometimes when I realize that even with all my problems I am so much better off than some of my friends. Getting old isn’t all roses.

As the weather continues to get nasty in the southeast I expect we will see a lot of people on television standing out in a driving rain shouting into the wind. Don’t these people even have sense enough to come in out of the rain?

And what exactly does this weird repeated behavior tell their viewers? Dumb.
