I survived another trip to the #Dentist —— this time to get a filling replaced. While the dentist was flitting from room to room, alternately working on teeth and making people wait, the young girl technician tried to make small talk. She asked me how my recent crown was doing and I told her. It is 50-50. Half the time it hurts to chew on it. She replied with the most condescending claptrap I have ever heard from a so-called medical professional. She said, “Well sometimes teeth have a mind of their own and they don’t always know we are trying to help them. I’m sure eventually your tooth will figure out it is Okay and start feeling better.”

Nothing like baby talk to cover for an inept $800+ failed procedure.
