Another text message from #OakLawn stating they will be out inspecting properties and issuing warnings and fines about the appearance of homes. This from people who can’t keep the water and sewer lines running and refuse to properly plow snow.

I update “Today in History” every day (or try to) and I have become so disgusted with Wikipedia for turning it into a listing of nobody rappers, sports failures and bad actors. At the same time they are removing people from the list who are (or were) truly talented and accomplished. I get the feeling a bunch of uneducated youngsters have taken on this responsibility and simply have neither the maturity or intelligence to discern the difference between “influencers” and actual historical figures. Just because some idiot covers their face with ridiculous tattoos and jumps around on stage with saggy pants like a full diaper while spewing obscene rap lyrics —— they are not worthy of recognition alongside real talent.
