Twitler’s announcement last night that he was placing high tariffs on countries around the world came after the stock market closed, but it drove stock futures dramatically downward. Overseas, global markets also plunged.
I skipped a couple substack articles about #CoreyBooker and his publicity stunt. I don’t understand why anybody thinks TALKING non-stop makes anything better. DO SOMETHING

I sent a couple more emails to GoComics about their busted web site issues and got form responses about how swamped they are and how hard they are working to fix it. That’s bullshit. Nobody is reading these emails and they can’t be working too hard if they can’t fix it in a week. Sadly this is what happens when one site buys out all the others and has a monopoly.

Comics Update!
I was doodling around on the comics site and remembered I had some notes in my password manager. I discovered a directory path from before this upset and tried hacking into that directory on their site. Voilà! I worked my way to account settings and made some changes which then allowed me to access my account. I will have to rebuild my lists and rejiggle some file naming conventions, but I think I may be able to make this work without them.
Now lets hope they don’t do something in the meantime to screw it up again.

I will go back to Tuesday and try to rebuild the comics for that day as a test case. Hopefully by end of today.
While I’m at it; if there is a particular cartoon anyone would like added to the daily list, please let me know.
