For three hot days, from July 1st to July 3rd, 1863, more than 150,000 soldiers from the armies of the United States of America and the Confederate States of America slashed at each other in the hills and through the fields around Gettysburg, PA.
I almost didn’t post this. I nearly gag at the sugar-coated piety slathered all over anything about Lincoln, but it is a a part of our history and the War Criminal actually spewed this hypocrisy in spite of the stench of rotting corpses he caused.
