| I know it is harsh to suggest the leaders of my country ought to be considered as war criminals —— but I know that many in other countries would convict them in a heart beat. I think what we did in Gitmo was definitely wrong. I don’t believe we should have tried to avoid world treaties which determine the rules of war and the treatment of prisoners of war, war crimes, etc. There really is no such thing as an enemy combat ant and never was. There are people we tortured and somebody should be held accountable. I would want that if I or anyone I knew were tortured. |
