Artist Jenn Winters paints a mural in memory of the 19 firefighters from the Granite Mountain Hotshot Crew who died while fighting the Yarnell Hill Fire near Prescott in 2013, on the Old Firehouse Plaza in Prescott, June 30th. The city recalled the 1st anniversary of the tragedy with a ceremony and reading of the fallen firefighters’ names.

In 2013, 19 elite firefighters known as members of the Granite Mountain Hotshots were killed battling a wildfire northwest of Phoenix after a change in wind direction pushed the flames back toward their position. #Fire2013YarnellAZ
